So Playful

You're really starting to interact more. Handing stuff to us to play with, especially your blankie, is your way of suckering us in. You hold it out, arms stretched, big eyes looking up.

You're now sticking your tongue out. We all, including you, find it hilarious.

You laugh really hard ... at Maia, us putting the blankie over your head, when we clobber you with a pillow. When you get really excited, you shake your arms and legs.

You love the itsy bitsy spider book. You keep handing it back to us read again.
The other night I had painted my nails a grey shade. You were obsessed with them. You'd pull at my arm, bring my hand up to right in front of my face and inspect them.

We had a 4-hour appointment the the other week. One small room for 4 hours. You were amazing, in great spirits. Everyone was so impressed. I was so proud!

You weren't nearly as jovial for your hearing screening. You didn't like the people. And what made it especially worse was the mechanical dogs they had above the speakers. They would light up the box they were in and they'd start moving, clawing at their glass cage and yapping. You would cry at the small mechanical pig we brought back for you from the beach. I felt so bad now you had to be startled by these dogs.

You're not of fan of pretty much any toy with eyes. You will whine, cry and shake.
